Vision
We provide leadership opportunities for young adults to reach their full potential in making a positive impact in our community.
What We Do
We conduct leadership development training for young adults 18 to 24 years old. We use Adaptive Leadership and Social Entrepreneurship to address issues facing the San Diego community.
Our Programs and Teams
Experience, Reflect, Apply (ERA) ProgramThe Experience, Reflect, Apply (ERA) Program is a workshop series that reaches out to the youth of the San Diego dance community. It was launched at the end of 2016 with a goal to branch out to more dancers and eventually all high schools willing to host us.
The workshop focuses on having direction and finding purpose. We first discuss who we are as individuals and reflect on experiences that have shaped our internal world. We then talk about the environment from which we were raised in, promoting the idea that we are products of our environment. The last part consists of combining the two topics to promote life’s journey not as a linear path, but rather as a path with twists and turns, focusing on overcoming obstacles and always maintaining a sense of direction through any situation. |
ELI Foresight CommissionsThe ELI Foresight Commissions is a team of ELI Alumni who utilize their knowledge and experience to constantly build and revise each season’s curriculum to help strengthen and maximize each Cohort’s opportunities, passions, and careers goals.
Each year ELI undergoes another Season comprised of a new Cohort of young leaders who develop their leadership skills and techniques in order to directly apply them to their passions in the real world. During each Season leadership growth is fostered through a series of workshops that are both informative and hands-on, with sessions including resume building, mock interviews, networking, and event planning, all under the guidance of community leaders. |
